Community Guidelines

Introduction:

At College Rising Company, we strive to foster a positive and inclusive community where individuals can engage in meaningful discussions, share knowledge, and support each other's academic pursuits. To ensure a respectful and safe environment for all participants, we have established the following Community Guidelines. By participating in our community, you agree to abide by these guidelines. We encourage you to read the Terms of Use and applicable Privacy Policy to understand the terms related to the use and privacy of the Platform/Service, which is generally accessible at https://www.collegerising.com/termsofservice and https://www.collegerising.com/pricypolicy respectively. 

Respect and Courtesy:

1. Treat all community members with respect and courtesy. Avoid engaging in personal attacks, harassment, or discrimination based on factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. Disagreements should be handled in a constructive and civil manner, promoting healthy dialogue.

Privacy and Confidentiality:

2. Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Do not share personal information, such as contact details or private conversations, without explicit consent. Refrain from engaging in any activities that may compromise the privacy or security of community members.

Intellectual Property:

3. Respect intellectual property rights. Do not post or share copyrighted material, unless you have obtained proper authorization or it falls under fair use provisions. Give credit to original sources when referencing or using someone else's work.

Relevant and Valuable Contributions:

4. Contribute to the community in a meaningful and valuable manner. Share content, questions, and comments that are relevant to the academic and educational nature of our community. Avoid spamming, off-topic discussions, or posting content solely for self-promotion.

Appropriate Language and Tone:

5. Use appropriate language and maintain a professional tone in all interactions. Avoid profanity, offensive language, or content that may be considered obscene, defamatory, or threatening. Be mindful of cultural sensitivities and diverse perspectives within the community.

Safety and Security:

6. Help create a safe and secure environment for all community members. Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to the community moderators or administrators promptly. Do not engage in activities that violate the law or compromise the security of the community.

Compliance with Policies and Laws:

7. Abide by all applicable laws, regulations, and policies while participating in the community. Do not engage in activities that promote illegal or harmful behavior, including but not limited to plagiarism, cheating, or encouraging academic dishonesty.

No Trolling or Bullying:

8. Do not engage in trolling or bullying behavior. Avoid intentionally provoking or harassing others, spreading false information, or disrupting the community's peaceful functioning. Encourage a supportive and friendly atmosphere instead.

Moderation Decisions:

9. Respect the decisions made by the community moderators or administrators. Their role is to enforce these guidelines and maintain the community's integrity. If you disagree with a decision, reach out to them privately for clarification or to express your concerns.

Continuous Improvement:

10. We value feedback and suggestions from the community. If you have any ideas or recommendations for improving the community experience, feel free to share them constructively with the moderators or administrators.

Failure to comply with these Community Guidelines may result in temporary or permanent suspension from the community, depending on the severity of the violation. The College Rising Company reserves the right to modify or update these guidelines as necessary to ensure the best possible community experience for all participants.
